ABMP Post Op Summit - Scar Tissue Formation & Impact

We're still buzzing from the ABMP Post-Op Summit earlier this month (November 4, 2025). Our presentation—Scar Tissue Formation and Impact: A Visual Journey— took over 2,000 participants on a journey beneath the surface. 

From the skin through the superficial fascia to the deep fascia to the muscle and even as deep as abdominal organs, we observed how scarring changes normal tissue architecture. Participants were able to SEE images of actual scar tissue from our own work in the dissection lab. 

And the reaction? 

We were taken aback by the overwhelming positive feedback. Here are just a few comments:

We'd love to take all the credit for the positive responses. But part of what made this presentation powerful was REAL anatomy. Participants were able to SEE images of actual scar tissue. When we SEE anatomy, it changes how we touch. And our clients know it. 

The big takeaway? We're not trying to "break up" scar tissue. We're supporting its integration and restoring its function. This shift in perspective changes everything about how we approach our work.
