In Course Two, we go deeper! Peritoneal adhesions are an important part of the scar tissue story. Adhesions form as a type of internal scarring, a fibrotic connection that develops as a result of healing from a trauma, inflammatory processes, or surgery. In this third course, we explore:
- What is the peritoneum? What's it made of, what's it do and how does it help create relationships in our gut?
- What are adhesions? How do they form? What do they look like?
- Can our bodywork prevent or treat adhesions? What's the research say?

C-section Scars
